Justin Moses Honored as 2018 IBMA Dobro Performer of the Year

RALEIGH, NC (September 28, 2018)  Blue Highway's Justin Moses was honored as 2018 IBMA Dobro Performer of the Year as part of the 29th Annual International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards on Thursday, September 27, at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh, NC. 

This is the first IBMA Dobro Performer of the Year award for Moses, who joined Blue Highway in May of this year.  Justin's wife, GRAMMY nominee Sierra Hull, was also honored as IBMA Mandolin Performer of the Year, for the third consecutive year.

Moses has shared the stage with icons such as Clint Black, Emmylou Harris, Bruce Hornsby, Alison Krauss, Brad Paisley, Ricky Skaggs, Joe Diffie, Jerry Douglas, Peter Frampton, and Barry Gibb.

Justin appeared on the 2009 GRAMMY Nominated and IBMA Album of the Year winning release "Wheels" by Dan Tyminski, as well as "Music to My Ears" by Ricky Skaggs, among other prominent releases.

Prior to joining Blue Highway, Moses toured with bands like Blue Moon Rising, NewFound Road, Band of Ruhks, The Dan Tyminski Band, and Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.  He has also appeared on prominent television shows such as The Today Show, Conan, The Marty Stuart Show, and The Grand Ole Opry.
