Blue Highway has earned 27 collective IBMA Awards, 6 SPBGMA Awards, one Dove Award, and three Grammy nominations as a band, plus two Grammy Awards among its current members.
Blue Highway's #1 album "Original Traditional" was nominated for a 2017 GRAMMY Award for Best Bluegrass Album.
Wayne Taylor was inducted into the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2016. Tim Stafford received honors as 2014 IBMA Songwriter of the Year and 2015 SPBGMA Guitar Player of the Year. Shawn Lane was nominated as 2015 IBMA Songwriter of the Year, while Gaven Largent was nominated as 2016 SPBGMA Dobro Player of the Year.

Blue Highway charted the Most Radio Airplay of any Bluegrass Artist in 2014, per the 2014 Bluegrass Today Radio Airplay Chart, storming national airplay charts with their heralded album 'The Game.'
'The Game' topped multiple charts at #1 including reigning at # 1 for 7 consecutive months on the Bluegrass Unlimited Album Chart, and was named the #1 Bluegrass Album of the Year by critic Daniel Mullins in his end of the year Top 20 Albums of 2014 list in Bluegrass Today.

Blue Highway members Wayne Taylor, Gaven Largent, and Tim Stafford are honored to have received nominations in the upcoming 2018 SPBGMA Awards. Wayne is nominated as Songwriter of the Year, while Gaven is nominated as Dobro Performer of the Year. A song Tim Stafford co-wrote with Paul Harrigill, "All My Life," is nominated as Song of the Year, as recorded by Flatt Lonesome. The 44th Annual SPBGMA Bluegrass Music Awards will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville.

Blue Highway is honored to be nominated for three awards in the upcoming 28th Annual International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards to be held on Thursday, September 28, in Raleigh, NC. Blue Highway is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year and for Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year for the song "Hallelujah" from their Grammy Nominated album "Original Traditional." Tim Stafford is also nominated as 2017 IBMA Songwriter of the Year.

Blue Highway is honored to be nominated for a 2017 GRAMMY Award for Best Bluegrass Album for their newly released album "Original Traditional" on Rounder Records.
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 12, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and will be aired on CBS.
Released on September 9, "Original Traditional" has charted two #1 songs to date, with the album soaring to #1 on national charts in early November.

Blue Highway have the current #1 Song and #1 Album in Bluegrass!
"Don't Weep for Me" soared to #1 on the Bluegrass Today Chart (Week of Nov 4), while "Original Traditional" is #1 atop the Roots Music Report Chart (Week of Nov 5).
"Don't Weep for Me" is written by Shawn Lane, Buddy Brock, and Gerald Ellenburg, and marks the second #1 song to date from Blue Highway's "Original Traditional."
The album's first #1 song was "Wilkes County Clay," charting on the Bluegrass Today Chart on Sept 24, just three weeks from the album's release on Sept 9.

Blue Highway on First Round Grammy Ballot in Four Categories

Blue Highway is honored to be included on the First Round Ballot of the 59th Annual GRAMMY AWARDS in four categories:
(1) Best Bluegrass Album - 'Original Traditional' (2) Best American Roots Performance - "Top of the Ridge" (3) Best American Roots Song - "Top of the Ridge" (4) Best Gospel Song - "Hallelujah."
"Top of the Ridge" is written by Shawn Lane and Gerald Ellenburg. "Hallelujah" is arranged by Blue Highway.
After voting is cast on the First Round Ballot, the nominations come in the second round of voting, with the winners chosen in the third round.
The 2017 Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017. CBS television network will broadcast The Grammys Live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
